A Two Minute Review If You Plan To Buy

At first glance, there doesn’t seem to be much difference between the iPhone 13 and its predecessor, the iPhone 12, iPhone 11 or iPhone 10 in terms of its size and function. However, if you look closer, or stacked up an older iPhone next to it, there is a slightly (20%) slimmer notch at the top. The iPhone 13’s two camera lenses are now stacked diagonally compared to the iPhone 12 which are one on top of the other. Also, pink. There’s pink now. Yay!

Many have criticized Apple for lacking the innovation and functions that some android brands have. However, rather than working on the looks, the iPhone 13 has significant improvements and upgrades than before, both hardware and software.

Apple fans who are looking to upgrade after two to four years will dramatically have a better experience. Most consumers will be satisfied with the huge upgrade in processing speed, screen quality, battery life and camera quality, than previous iPhones.

During the launch event, Apple spent a lot of time talking about the improvements they did to the camera, including a new Cinematic Mode with adjustable focus and several new computational photography tricks to help with movies, low-light photos and image stabilization. They also mentioned that the iPhone 13 Pro boasts a 3X optical zoom, but that’s just an improvement of an existing feature.

The highlight of course for many Apple fans is its battery life. iPhones are infamous for their lack of stamina compared to Android brands, but Apple has finally figured it out and is now far better than it has been on previous iPhones. Its new A15 Bionic chipset, another highlight, is incredibly powerful and paired with 4GB of RAM it’s capable of running multiple apps and tasks quickly and efficiently. All in all the iPhone 13 series is a worthwhile upgrade for anyone who’s coming from an older iPhone, or looking to switch from Android.
